My New Bug a Salt rocks!
Preliminary report:
Cold as the proverbial up here today, about -17 with a vicious wind.
I took a piece of Styrofoam about 3" thick, taped a length of 24" wide aluminum foil to it and shot three patterns, one each at 1', 2' and 4'.
At one foot 1.5 inches = 4 cm
At two feet 3 " = 7.5 "
At four feet 6 " = 15 "
The distances are probably within 1 to 3 inches as I was outside holding the tape measure's end against the foil with left hand and the end of the barrel as well, firing with right hand, no rest. I measured each pattern conservatively ignoring flyers, reading either inches or centimeters to the closest mark and then recording the closest other from the tape measure. In every case each grain of salt left a good mark. At one foot, if the foil had been in a frame and without the backing, I think the charge would have perforated the foil easily.
I will still take foil home and try to get images up.
There is no doubt that my first gun is only a look-a-like of the new one. I can dream of handing the old one to a neophyte and having a competition with shooting wasps on the fly, poor man's skeet. In honesty, we must be sober, no wager and I will tell him of what happened afterwards.

TG the Vixen will never read that.
How do I know, I put some kosher salt in it and as the grains are larger than free run ordinary table salt, it stopped working.
