I finally cut my first repro Ross stock. Its been a long road to get this far. All I can say is that the final inletting is a pain in the @#$, and took hours. Here are some pics:

I also found out that no Ross rifes meet the same specs, at least none of the 4 that I had to work with. They were all different within a couple thousanths, but that could be the difference between a tight fit and a sloppy fit. And boy what a differance between buttplates. Its not perfect to my standards, but close. That said, I spent about 30+ hours on this stock and handguard, but I'm sure the next one will be a bit quicker.
As for forend extentions, thats a piece of cake, this one took me about 4 hours soup to nuts:

The butt stampings were too nice to just leave it a sporter:

The wood I used to extend this one was from a buggered up Gew88 butt.
