Do any companys make them ?? the Luger P08 Artillery is my dream pistol. I want to buy one and shoot it LOTS. would hate to spend the big bucks to receive a historic one, And destroy the value of it by shooting it excessively.
 
I have always wanted ANY kind of luger. I sure wish someone would just take a nice example, reverse-engineer the damn thing, and get them out there as new manufacture Lugers. There HAS to be a market for them. I know they are expensive to make, but new ones , I am sure, can be had for less than the $1200-1500 MINIMUM for a vintage one. (of course I'd love to have a dirty bird marked one, but a man has to eat.)
 
The last people to do it was inter arms and it lost money. Some are made on a custom basis in Europe . I have
a pair of inter arms mauser luger carbines in 9mm
 
Contact Peter at lugercollector.com in Montreal. He rebarrels 12.6 Lugers to make them restricted. As a WW2 collector it breaks my heart, but it's the only way they survive now...

Not cheap, but it's likely the only chance you'll have at one. An original Artillery Luger will cost a LOT more.
