I'd like to gather some opinions on this reproduction Polish VIS 35 holster I'm thinking of buying. How close does it match the authentic (and nearly impossible to find) original Polish VIS 35 holster. NB these are very different from the Nazi issued holster for the VIS 35 (P 35) which are scarce and somewhat expensive but obtainable. Ignore the fake Nazi stamp. Thanks.

Murat, Stoggie - thank you for your replies. I'm going to make the seller an offer. If he accepts then I'll have to start looking for a Polish VIS 35. BTW I was able to purchase an authentic German holster for my P 35 and locate some Radom mags (none of them were cheap unfortuately).

Well the seller says the holster is no longer for sale. Maybe he saw this thread and thinks he has an original too. I doubt an original VIS holster would survive in as good shape as the one in the original post.

In any event - not a big loss as I don't have a Polish VIS 35 - yet! ;)

To give you an idea of how confusing it can be here are some pics of a supposed original holster:

On J.C. Still Luger Collectors forum there is a description of what to look for when buying an original in one of the sub forums. Unfortunately the link to the pics does not work anymore.

BTW does anyone else hate Photobucket? Know something better?
