I know kinda odd but I have a several hundred 280 rem brass. Curious if I can make 30-06 cases from them. Lots of info going from 30-06 to 280 but nothing the other way.
Thanks

If it was me, and I really had to do this, I would look at a Lee 30-06 resizing die with the tapered expander. I would also seriously consider annealing the necks first.

It can be done easily, but you would be a fool to do so. No point turning something rare and valuable into something common and cheap. Sell it and buy some brass with the correct headstamp. You will have money left.

Yesterday I processed some used .30-06 brass that I bought at an auction. There were three .270 brass mixed in the batch. I only noticed when the press handle was a little harder to push. They resized without a glitch. But I threw them away. Proper headstamps on the brass you load is a good thing. I have used "wildcat" reformed brass in the past, and it is sometimes a practical solution to a need, but mismatched head stamps are something to tolerate if necessary, not something to do on purpose.
