Resizing 308 Brass to 243

Any problem,or simply run them through a 243 sizing die ?

Makes for a bit of a long neck if I remember right.
The other way round is what I usually do, and it works well except for a short neck.

why not just buy 243 brass and save the headache and work

Because I have some 308 Brass that I may need for a 243.
I resize 30-06 to 270 regularly with no problems and was wondering if the 308>243 was as simple ?.

You will have some problems doing it all in one pass.

Neck them down to 7mm or 6.5 first and then down to 243. No problems at all this way, EXCEPT you may now have necks that are too thick to chamber in your rifle.
