Thanks to the guys and gals in NB at Restigouche for putting on an amazing 3 gun event and for making 4 weird guys from Ontario who drove out to attend the event feel so welcome. This might just have to become an annual pilgrimage. 17 hours worth of driving a way and worth each and every mile. Met some great folks, heckled and got heckled, had a heck of a lot of fun on some fantastic stages and learned a lot about my guns and other assorted kit. (Note to self: get some snap caps and figure out how to work a shotgun before you use it in a match.)

I have a feeling that the next time I shoot a pistol only event it's going to fall short.

it was a very fun match.. Thanks to the folks that put in all the work. Christ,...I did not realize you guys drove all the way from Ontario!!!!!!!! Wish I could have hung out with you folks after the match,...but needed to get home. I thought 3+ hrs of driving was a lot....sheesh.

(I need to use my shotgun more than once a year as well....I suck at shotgun.. I think my mossberg 590 now has about 250rds thru it).LOL:pirate:

Mine's had about... well, a box of ammo through it. As I was loading it during the first stage (Way too loud) and failing all I could think of was "Train like you fight so you can fight like you train." I got it but a little practice at home would have saved me a lot of time during the match. Some of the guys who do a lot of duck hunting were rocking the heck out of the shotty targets. :)
