Built my father in law a new stock for his 700 in 7stw. It had a really light fiberglass classic style stock on it but for his stature (6'4 300lbs) it didn't fit him well at all. So I dropped the but down 1.5", and raised and angled the comb so he could get a perfect cheek weld and be centered on the scope. Also increased the LOP to 14.5",pillar bedded it and sprayed it with 2K automotive urethane finish to give it the high gloss finish he wanted. Fits him like a glove now and he seemed to be pretty happy about how it turned out.

I'd be pretty happy if a son-in-law put that much effort into a rifle stock for me as well, great job.You have some talent,no doubt about that.

Incredible looking job you obviously have lots of talent, not to mention the fact that the brownie-point meter with your wife is probably off the scales now...

The brownie points meter was going down on this one, spending so much time out in the garage making something for her dad. All kidding aside she's pretty cool about it.
