Is there any source for original or reproduction stocks for a Long Lee-Metford Mk II?
I am considering trading for a Long Lee-Metford MkII, the fore stock has been sanded, and cut back just in-front-of the forward volley sight. The butt stock also had been sanded but the markings are faint but visible.
I wasn't aware they changed the term "Cleaning Rod" to "Clearing Rod".
Its a tall order maybe impossible but one can only ask.
I would appreciate opinions from any member or your friends with previous experience.
I will add pictures at a later point.
Thanks
Al

I would need a fore stock, middle barrel band, combination muzzle cap and bayonet lug, proper magazine, and clearing rod. I
