Restorer Needed for Butt Stock

If it's truly shrunk and cracked up it may not be restoreable. Tried to help a buddy with a stock by drilling, gluing and pinning it but it just crumbled in new ways/directions.
Perhaps keep it from deteriorating further and copy a new one?

Daniel Sell who works out of CRAFM is an incredible craftsman when it comes to wood (and metal as well for that matter).
He has done some pretty incredible things to some old broken stocks I had on some nice doubles.

Pin it , acraglas all the cracks and then restain and oil it with raw linseed oil and varsol or mineral spirits.
It will look great and be solid when its all done.
If you want to get real creative I guess you could fill the cracks with acraglas and inlay wood on the outside of the split, that would look nicer then just the black or brown acraglas.
