Restoring a 1907 berthier stock foreend

I am hoping for some help with restoring a 1907 berthier fore end with a 1907/15 nose cap. Would someone be able to measure from the lower band (where the lower band rests against the wider stock) to the fore end ? Also, I would be looking for a few close up pictures of the fore end and the nosecap band spring area so I can cut out the nose cap recess.
