restoring a enfield p14 help/ parts sources requested

got a good stock and handguards, a buttplate, and middle band at a good price, at the moncton gun show ........................thanks to member albayo.

messaged SARCO in the USA, they have various parts for p14 / p17 and WILL ship to us in canada.

did some looking on ebay ...........a few stocks, QUITE A FEW PARTS , but RATHER ROUGH AND VERY COSTLY, thats if they will ship to canada.
 
I just walk around and look at the junk boxes at gun shows, yard sales.

Butt plates, bands, nosecaps, swivels, all that kind of stuff.

Even Volley Sights from time to time.

You just have to KNOW what you're looking for.

W = Winchester

RI = Remington Ilion

RE = Remington Eddystone

That's for P-14. Most parts will also have the broad Arrow.

M-1917 parts will fit and largely interchange. Bolt Body, Extractor and Firing Pin do NOT interchange, must be a Matched set of Pin and Bolt. You swap extractors on SOME conversions to Target or Hunting rifles, NEVER for a restoration.

W = Winchester

R = Remington

E = Eddystone

That's for M-1917/P-'17 parts. NO Broad Arrow, sometimes a Flaming Bomb, depending on the part and age.
