Restricted 22 Long Rifles???

I bet they try to justify those particular restrictions with the excuse that it could be dangerous for someone to mistake a non restricted arm for a prohib. All the same, its contradictive and is not consistent with the requirements of classification, rules of storage, use and transport. They have an excuse for everything.

RCMP: They're restricted because fu(k you. You have 0 questions remaining, thank you for contacting the dark side of the RCMP. Goodbye.
They should restrict donuts though. Max two per day so I don't look like a fat mess eating like six of them in front of hungry kids that only get one and a chocolate milk. They look so sad. So hungry.

Silly how looks matter with firearms but we are supposed to value things for what's on the inside.....22 is 22 and will never be more. And any semi can be modded to full. It's so dumb. We don't cuz it's illegal. And we value our freedom which apparently can be taken from for shooting a 22 on a farm if happens to be shot from a pistol.

Not only do they take THAT one, they take them ALL. They get a stiffy from doing that, I'm sure. Lots of high fives and butt slapping.

its nothing to do with looks.. its becuase it is labelled an AR variant by manufacture.

the valmet looks like an AK... but non restricted

A rifle that shares absolutely no common parts with another gun is not a "variant", it might resemble the other but that's it. The AP-74 for example, it doesn't even have AR or 15 in the name FFS and there are zero parts in common between it and an AR-15.

Stupid goofs playing gun ban with semi auto .22 rifles, geez.

Yep.... Since we dont have the same short barrel issues as in the US, I'd love to get the Mp5SD variant, and shorten that mock suppressor up to make it look like the original... Its a sweet looking shooter! Heck, they all are! Our RCMP that decide whats restricted or not are a bunch of desk jockey goofs IMO...
