Restricted Ammo Question?

Just a quick question, what are the laws surrounding the storage of just restricted ammo in a house where there is no gun, but also no one who has a restricted license?

Everything I can find relates the storage of ammo verses where the gun is stored.

As far as I know there is no distinction between ammunition for rifles and handguns when it comes to storage or purchase. Many hand gun calibers are also rifle calibers .. or visa versa if you prefer. Take .22LR for instance, I use it in both rifles and hand guns.

There is only ammo and prohibited ammo, i.e. armour piercing handgun ammo and ammo that ignites on impact.

But do get some that ignites in flight! Tracers... thanks for the reminder to load some up!

Just don't store you ammo in the oven while it is on clean cycle! Unless you record it and post it on You Tube!
