Why, when people post picture of their AR15 or trying to selling a AR15, They take a picture of that saying?

Is that suppose to make it better or make it sell faster?

Man - this P7M8 guy really peed in your cornflakes.... ;)

I agree - it's pretty dumb. Then again, maybe some guys buy AR15's to impress their friends, and think this is 'cool'?

I wouldn't pay a single cent more for that marking, nor would it be a deciding factor.

Just seeing it on his EE sales add made me bring up this question. Being I've seen it a lot.

mine are LEO/gouv but thats only because at one time that was almost all that got into the contry since guns comming up here where all no-ban guns. today its a poser thing for shure but you still get stuff that leaves you no choise like eotech and such

I love it when they sell "tactical" low recoil law enforcement shotgun ammo as "For police only" Meanwhile the hunting loads have way more powerl!!

Markings are an important part of describing the gun I see nothing wrong with it. I personally like to see both sides of the gun in pictures and as well know all markings on ANY gun I buy.

During Clintons Federal AWB ( that expired in 2004 ) many companies such as LMT laser engraved lowers with the "restricted for law enforcement" because they had to . Lots of those are still floating around

When I bought my LMT thats what they had in stock. This statement does not mean anything in Canada ( because there was never any such restriction, nor is it relevant in the US now.

Contrary to what you might think, people don't get this engraved on there to be cool. More often than not you don't have a choice ( ex EOTech )

same as the above...my LMT came with the markings.

Don't really hate it or love, it....really don't notice it when I'm shooting so it's not a factor for me.

....does kind of look "cool" though now that I take a closer look....

;)
