Restricted storage question?

Because after being shown the law that says Stack-on cabinets meet the definition of safe under the regulations for storage, you still think you need to use trigger locks?

If i was setup with this kind of rig, i would trigger lock all my firearms, i like removing all the possible doubts, past history have showned that interpretation will always be part of the equation.

The big vault that weight 800 pounds with 10 X 1.25 inch thick steel pins will probably close the discussion.

Because i dont like to trigger lock my firearms and i like my ammo in the same vault.
But this is just me.:nest:

Ya, I don’t think you have a vault.
Maybe a locked cabinet?

[emphasis mine]

This part isn't actually possible, because - as you point out - interpretation is always involved.

I own 7 safes in 6 houses.

One Browning 50 firearms in a concrete room with a steel door bolted to the concrete floor.
4 Costo safes 27 firearms all bolted to the floor.
2 Sentry safes 2 cubic foot bolted to the floor in walking.

Maybe you don’t understand what everyone is getting at, but depending on skill those are all easily broken into. I know guys who couldn’t get into a child proofed wooden cabinet as well. Even if you go above and beyond they can still charge you and rack up your legal expenses, the court doesn’t care about your opinion and how well you think you removed doubt.

Who's the name of that guy who got charged because some thieves spent a few days working on opening his safe to steal his guns?

If i break the law, it's sure i can be charged, but if they come for an inspection, i am pretty 100% full proof, i leave nothing to negligence and am very serious about storage and above storage, i want to eliminate any single possibilty of an accident happening, there is 18 kids in my family, i will never take a chance on Nothing concerning firearms.

If you don’t want to learn that’s fine. But stop telling others your opinion is above the law lol.

Mike Hargreaves. The crown finally dropped the charges in 2014 after dicking around for 11 years. He was in Florida when charged and stayed there rather than return to Canada AFAIR. (It was a non-extraditable offense)

Well it's not above the law but pretty much on par with the law, my sister and her husband are both lawyer, i got them to check all the storage laws in the FA and according to them this is the closest you can get to be troublefree with this setup. Just saying, peace of mind is priority one, anyone choose their way, i chosen mine.
