Its been discussed before but i couldn't find it and im going to ask some different questions anyways. I love my cz 858 tactical 2 it is accurate, and i got the pick of the litter it has a nice dark paint on it and the front site is low and centered. However, since i am a student now and sold my car im not getting out to the country with the boys to shoot as much, and with the new addition of a 1911 it seems like the range will be my main shooting spot instead of the hills. I am wanting to trade my non-res. for a res. cz/vz.

My first question is how do you guys with both res. and non res. think they compare? Accuracy, etc.

Second question is, with the new additions of the vz`s and vz look alikes (fsn, new shorter barreled vz`s) , how easy will it be for me to get the older style restricted ? seems like i am seeing the new ones for 1000$ now instead of the old ones for around 650 on the contributing dealers sites. Thanks

p.s - just realised something, is the cheap crated ammo usually allowed to be shot at indoor ranges??

1) Get both. If getting both isn't an option keep the NR.
2) suply & demand man.
3) different ranges have different rules. You'll have to consult your range to find out.

Good luck.

you can always shoot your non-restricted at the range. if it shoots well and you still like it why bother selling it? ranges aren't strictly for restricted. go ahead and get both if you want teh restricted, but i wouldn't sell teh non.. just my 2 cents though.

well its also an issue of money, i need the extra dough for christmas so i was thinking sell mine for 6, put down 2 on a restricted, i like the length, the chrome, and alot of my friends shoot at the range with them so those are some other factors, i would love to have both but wont go for now unfortunately

Keep the non restricted. There will come a time that you will want to get out in the bush with your buds and shoot.I bought the non restricted just for that reason alone.I also have a compact on order.
