Hello all, new to the forums.

I'm looking at getting into collecting a few popular WWII rifles.

A little list of what I'm looking for.

- Mosin Nagant
- Mauser M98
- M1 Garand
- Lee Enfield

I know there are alot of different versions of each of the rifles I have listed, but I don't really care about authenticity and such, any version will do.

I know of Mar-star and S.I.R. usually has some surplus.

Are there any other Canadian Military surplus dealers out there?

I highly recommend trade ex and P&S. I have bought from both with great results. Trade ex doesn't have garands though but PS would be your best bet anywhere for prices and condition. From reading about Jean form P&S in the past he under estimates the condition his rifles are in. You won't go wrong buying form either of them.

Thanks guys, looks like some great sites, with some great firearms.

Could you guys fill me in on how one would go about purchasing a rifle on line?

I realize that I would email / call them and fill them in on what I want, give them my info and send them a money order, but are there any special rules for shipping firearms? Deliver right to the door? Shipping costs?

Thanks.

Shipping is generally canada post, so however you get parcels now- to your door, or pick up at p/o, is what you can expect. Price varies, but averages around $25 give or take.

I was in at Sidney I, and the rifles they are selling are equipped completely and are in super condition. Can't knock 140 bucks for a rebuilt rifle with a pristine bore, cleaning kit, sling, ammo pouch AND bayonet.

Nice thing is that they will also select... Bernie was showing me a nice Kar98k that was in real nice shape and just happened to be built by JP Sauer & Sohne, which is definitely one of the lesser-known makers..... 3 bills in nice shape. At that kind of price, you can ignore the silly markings..... or you can fill 'em up with body putty, even though it is likely a sick bird (ill eagle).
Gad, whadda country!
