I know it has been done before, but I am wondering if anyone is still using the old german #1 retical?
I am looking in to putting one in my Leupold vx3 1.5-5x20 on my 375h&h
I have always liked the simplisity of the 3 post desine, and do most of my hunting in the bush. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks

Have you looked through any scopes with a #4 or #4A reticles. The fine inside & top reticle pretty well disappear in low light yet are visible in good light, to allow you a better sight picture for accuracy for sighting in, testing loads, etc.

I too hunt mostly in bush & really like the heavy crosshairs for my aging eyes. I have a #4 on my Zeiss Diavari 1.5-6x42 on my Army & Navy 375 H&H, as well as on quite a few of my Zeiss' & Swarovskis & Kahles', both on d.g. & normal rifles.
