First off, I know sweet bugger all about scopes. I did some digging a while ago only to realise they weren't really my thing.

Issue is, my mauser has a scope on it. It's a weaver K31 I believe.

It also has the world's most annoying reticle.

Any way of swapping reticles easily? I could do with a simple crosshair, maybe german post and crosshair, I don't really care, just not this one (for those curious, it's a thick cross bar, and a thick vertical bar that stops just above the center line with a rounded tip, thus obscuring the actual cross hairs and making a useless aim point on the top of the post:mad:)

Also, would it be a lot more strait forward to just sell the scope and get another one? Only thing that stops me there is that otherwise it's a great scope - looks good, is in flawless and crystal clear condition.
 
You could send the scope to premium Recticle in the US, they would do that for you.....but I would expect it to be quite costly
