Thanks guy. It's a hunt I've never experienced in past. I thoroughly enjoyed the hunt and can't say enough about the efforts of my guide and S.I.L.'s efforts in making it a success. We haven't tried much of it yet but with what we have eaten so far, tastes great!! A whole new experience in hunting for me and one I'll treasure always.

His abilities and experience in the field go far and above mine. Of note, their honeymoon was big game hunting in Texas. And, a few years ago, they spent a month in Africa hunting while my wife & I spoiled our Granddaughter. Check the posts of graylake and you'll find a good account of their hunt experience in Africa including some great photos.
 
Nice pronghorns, even better doing it with family. As far as drawing another pronghorn tag in Alberta, it would likely take closer to twenty years for you to draw again.
 
Congratulations! And good on you for sticking with an animal that you made a questionable shot on. Unfortunately with hunting things like that happen, good to see you didn't give up on it.
looks like a trip of a lifetime.
(i hope my daughter takes an interest in hunting as well)
