hey guys i have a norc 10.5, and love it i have put on a quadrail forgrip and would like to go to a higher quality (rattle free) colapsible stock, gas block and folding sights.
while i love the look of this build, it leaves me urning for a "classic" look as well.
so i want to find a source for an older style stock and triangular foregrip
any one?

The older style aluminium carbine stock, or the "newer" plastic/polymer replacement might not be too hard to find (well the alu one will probably be), but triangular handguards for a carbine length gas systems will be an issue.

I have only seen a couple of photos of cut down rifle length triangular handguards, so if you want that look, you would probably have to do the same. All the original Colt Carbines (eg: Colt XM-177E1) came with round handguards.

perhaps i wasnt clear, i have a 10.5 that i am "modernizing"
i want to build something with a "retro" look with a longer barrel, triangular hand guard, and one peice fixed stock, ect.
who deals this stuff?
or should i look on the ee?

Now it makes more sense!

I have seen some retro stuff on the EE, as well as at some local gun shops from time to time, so they do come up.

There are a couple of guys on here that build/collect retro rifles. Also, you could place a WTB in the EE for a whole rifle or parts, and see what happens.

Regards.
