Retumbo for .338LM ??

Yes, but mine likes H1000 just a little better. Retumbo is pretty good though and is worth a try. I'm using the 300SMK.

hodgon has retumbo listed in its reloading data for 338 lapua,
i am using H1000 as well, and was thinking of trying retumbo, but im getting excelent results with the H1000 already and dont want to bother wasting money on new load data and testing to squeeze water from stone.

HBMG50 works well also

I'd be reluctant to recommend H50BMG, as it has been discontinued, so stock up.

I prefer Re33, but Retumbo and H1000 are close behind.

US869 gives top velocities, and I have yet to try IMR-8133.

So many choices.

I have used 50BMG, H1000 and Retumbo. Mine preferred BMG but when it went out of production I switched to H1000. When I cannot find any H100, Retumbo is a great alternative.

I have tried retumbo and h-1000 but with 300 gn bergers Vit N570 got me the hight velocity with the least temp sensitivity. I've also tried Us869 but Its extremly susceptible to temp fluctuations.

I use IMR Enduron powders that are temperature insensitive (IMR 4166 and IMR 7977). IMR 8133 is the newest powder in the Enduron line that is designed to duplicate Retumbo burn rate and density. Perhaps that powder would work well for you in your .338 LM.
