is retumbo to slow burning for a 257 wbee.

h1000 is a good powder for the 257 wbee but I do not have any and non is avalible . Their is lots of retumbo and its only slightly slower then h1000....

My current load for my .257 Bee contains a slightly over-book-max amount of Retumbo, and Berger 115 grain bullets. I can get 1" - 1.25" groups at 200 meters if I'm not too shaky. Bullet's moving 3315 fps at the muzzle.

I had the same problem finding H-1000 and switched to Retumbo

x2 on the 7828

I haven't tried retumbo, it may work well, but I suspect it's a bit slow burning and some of the stuff I've read online seems to indicate the same. Could be the magic one for you tho...
