Ive just got back into my firearms as of late.I have a Remington 581 .22lr bolt action rifle that I bought new when I was 16 years old(1983).It was the first real firearm I ever owned.Through the years I have bedded the action and redone the stock. But the only real draw back on this rifle is the HEAVY trigger. Now that my daughter is old enough to learn about firearms I would like to use this gun for training. The fun thing with this gun is it came with an adapter to convert it to a single shot.Amazingly i still have that piece in with my gun stuff. So now that I can use it as a single shot is there anything I can do to lighten the trigger?

581s are an awesome action, appearently some of the fastest locktime available. I'm pretty sure that if you have a quick search in the remington section of rimfirecentral.com that you will come up with something.
Cheers,
Grant
