I was thinkin, which is generally not a good thing... Anyway with our Canadian magazine restriction laws - and even in the USA these days, they should start making magazines that are the same at both ends if you know what I mean....
Take your typical 20 round M14 magazine and put the feed end at both ends. That way each side would only hold 5 rounds but you could just reverse the magazine and have 5 more. Technically it would be a 10 round magazine.
It might be something of a grey area though ~ law wise.
Anyway, just a thought... I'd buy something like that if it was available... and legal.
I suppose two 5 round mags could just be welded or screwed together at the floor plate
