Almost all shipping cost as far as I've heard. Thanks to the Aussies for their particularly retarded approach to gun laws, anyone shipping guns here has to ship them via a fairly complicated route to get across the border without them getting seized along the way.

Almost all shipping cost as far as I've heard. Thanks to the Aussies for their particularly retarded approach to gun laws, anyone shipping guns here has to ship them via a fairly complicated route to get across the border without them getting seized along the way.
Meh. Here we just have to pay $200 extra, and upgrade the gun safe to get the upgraded license. No need to stick with thumbhole stock then, can use anything up to and including drum mags, perfectly legally for hunting 
Only downside is that no-one else can use the rifle then, so you can't use it to take the kids rabbit or goat shooting. Hence why a lot of us stick with the more neutered version.
