Has anyone used the browning bps shotgun with the 28 inch barrel...... Just wanting to know what people think of it????

I have owned both the 26" and 28" barrel models, and find that the shorter barrel model has better balance and handles better. YMMV!

Good reliable shotgun. Good quality materials and finish. Solidly built. The "stalker" model has a stock that fits me better than the "hunter" version, which has more of a parallel comb. One caveat is that failures to feed may occur, if you do not pull the action all the way back. That is probably true of most pump actions. When done properly, no feeding issues arise. The forearm is a bit wobbly, which I personally dislike, but it hardly affects shooting precision. Overall, an excellent shotgun. Again, I prefer the 26 inch barrel version over the 28 inch version.

Love mine, 28" barrel, looked at a lot of shotguns before I bought a BPS, honestly just felt better built than any other pump I handled, if the gun fits you, you can't go wrong with it

have 3 BPS shotguns, love them. The only thing that I am not sure I like is that you cannot load a round in the ejection port like a Mossberg or Remington. But, fit, function and quality? its a 10. Very smooth action.
Never jams, no issues with ejection, no failures to feed or fire. It may take you a couple tries to get the trigger group back in after cleaning, but after a few times, you'll get the hang of it. My wife and I both hunt with them.
