Fit & Finish
Both products look to be made very professionally, no rough edges or other signs of being less than quality production. Black coloured finish on both products. All metal construction.

Installation
Muzzle Brake - Threads off your old muzzle brake and thread on the new one. Easy. The new muzzle brake was a perfect fit with zero wobble.

Stock Adaptor - First you must remove the existing stock from your VZ58. My VZ58 had the wire folding stock and it was nearly impossible to remove the bolt attaching the stock to the reciever. I tried various methods, in the end I ground a bunch of metal off a bit from the impact wrench, welded the bit to the bolt, and used a breaker bar to turn the bit. And cut the wire stock to get at the bolt straight on. I would not reccommend tackling this bolt removal unless you have access to some tools to work at it.

The installation of the new stock adaptor was very straight forward. It has relief cuts that meld with the shape of the metal on the back of the reciever with no wobble. There is a new bolt with the end plate that is attached to the plate itself but free to rotate.

After putting the adaptor on you must then bolt on the threaded ring that will accept your AR15 buffer tube. I used a milspec buffertube and locking ring. The tube can be mounted at two heights, low for iron sight usage, and about 1" higher for weapons with optics mounted. VERY smart design.

The tube is mounted straight, not angled to the bore like many of the other VZ stocks. From both an aesthetic and functional standpoint this is preferred.

After putting on the buffertube and locking ring, slide on your stock of choice. I used a LMT SOPMOD I had lying around.

Actual installation (after old stock removal) = less than 5 minutes, no skill required.

Range Time
After installing this stuff on my CZ 858 4V (the Wolverine Restricted model), I went to the range and put approx 300rds through the rifle. Also along for the trip was a stock CZ 858 4V from the same batch for direct before/after comparison.

The Muzzle Brake made for quicker followup shots due to the reduced muzzle rise. Definately works as advertised.

The Stock Adaptor is amazing. It takes the inexpensive VZ58 firing experience and makes it comfortable. I couldn't stand the wire stock and it's lack of cheekweld. The stock adaptor fixes this problem.

Several other shooters tried the rifle in this configuration and all commented on it's improved attributes.

Any Negatives?
I cannot find fault with the Stock Adaptor but I must restate that the old stock took alot of work to remove. Something to consider if you do not have access to tools or know someone who does.

The Muzzle Brake does add some small length to the rifle vs the standard muzzle device the rifle comes equipped from the factory with. This is not a concern to me.

Final Verdict
Two thumbs way up for Rauch Tactical on these products! Both items are extremely well made, low priced, and offer great improvement over the original weapons parts. I would not hesitate to reccommend either product and would encourage them as the first upgrades to a VZ being changed from stock configuration.

Thanks to Rauch Tactical for the opportunity to review their product!

One thing to note about the installation of the buttstock. Its a good idea to use some blue locktite on the threads of the bolts once you have decided which height you're gonna go with. Otherwise nice looking boomstick Big Red.
