Revolutionary Gun Grip Created by Vets Aims to Make Operators Deadlier

LOL silly.... lets put a massive hunk of plastic/rubber on the side of an operators rifle, that will make them knock their support hand into door frames, ect, and looks like it'll give you carpal tunnel syndrome within 5 mins.

What part of this says “reduced arm fatigue” to you? Lol.

Even Costa’s getting tired looking at this thing.

Operators operating operationally.

Besides, they weren’t the first to bring “massive hunk of plastic” to the market...

I dont disagree, looks stupid, and adds incredible bulk, and I HATE adding grips to rifles for this reason.

However several fb groups I am in have people using them and towing the line of "if it's stupid but works, then it's not stupid"

As someone who really likes the Haley theories of economy of motion and movement techniques I am not so quick to dismiss this trip and would kind of like to try one myself but man it is just so damn bulky and ugly.

at the same time however I'm not sure we'll see Travis Haley running one of these anytime soon

This thing is not stupid. By body mechanic, he is right.

Does it control recoil for comp shooters to reduce split time that run over the full course of fire in a few minutes, no. But for people who need to clear gazillions of rooms with weapons up after walking miles to the objective, he got it right.

Nope. The muscle groups involved in maintaining the rifle up and forward with this grip are much smaller than those involved in a conventional fingers under the handguard grip.
