Which two of the three would you guys say are more must have?

Note: of course you can have another semiauto other than 1911 or plastic.:)

My vote is based solely on looks: I have no actual experience of plastic guns, but the ones I've seen are fugly... ;)

Have shot a Glock 22 .40 cal lots since 1995...

But being a traditionalist I picked the 1911 & revolver. Got my start in handguns ~ 30 years ago with wheelies, namely S&W Model 10 heavy barrel .38 Special followed by a Model 19 .357 Magnum..... and my first pistol was a WWII Ithaca USGI 1911 .45ACP.

But will I admit likeing all three... ;)

I didn't vote...

but looks like I'm in the minority having a revolver and a plastic gun, but no 1911...The reason I started the thread is because I'm thinking of selling one of the two and getting a 1911. Tough to let go though...:(

I have no idea what a "pevolver" is so I went with door #1 .
If your refering to a wheel gun then its a little easier - all three .

Do'H, just noticed it... I don't even know how I hit the 'P' - it's on the other side of the keyboard

Your poll is IMPOSSIBLE! You must have a revolver, a 1911 AND a plastic gun.
Yes, you need all three... but then how fun would the poll be? ;)

I have to admit liking all three. Having learned on a revolver, I still have a fondness for them but I do like the light weight of the plastic (polymer) guns.
Most of the plastic guns are a variation of the 1911 design in some way.

I'm like Claybuster, most of my serious experience with plastic pistols was when I was 5 years old. I tried one of those Glock things a few years back and realized my first assumption was correct. Plastic pistols are for 5 year olds!!!

I will get a plastic gun when ATC is available in Canada and I will carry for 8 hours or more a day. For my current occasional CCW needs, my 1911 fits the bill nicely.
