I have a 629-6, stainless.

I am looking for recommendations to have the revolver cerakoted and trigger tuned a bit, as well as possibly having the OEM adjustable blade sights changed out.

I have talked to a couple companies, but they either do not do revolver work, or don't cerakote.

I know we have some forum sponsors that might do both, timeline isn't important. Just quality.

Any recommendations?

I have a set of tan G10 Piranha grips on it right now, so I'm thinking flat black with a closely matched tan cylinder. Nothing stripes or camp, lol.

I would personally Keep it stainless do not cerekote....Iam looking for a quality trigger work on a few smith's myself and not ones that have a year turn around....a few months max

I'm just looking for something different. It's just a preference. Still hard to find someone it seems. It might have to be shipped twice I suppose.

I just ordered a front and rear sight set made by LPA and purchased from Fusion Firearms in the U.S. They are going on my 929 which is an N frame 9mm. They are very pricy but nothing comes close. The front will be fibre optic and the rear black but they come with F.O. inserts for the rear sights as well. The second choice is just swapping out the blade for a taller one but that wouldn't give me a substantially different sight picture like the LPA's. Brownells has a great rear blade replacement but has been out of stock for many months. Looks like they don't have any immediate plans to make new ones. As for the Smith work, I will leave that up to your choice. Call a couple and see how things go. I have my own thoughts.

If you absolutely don't like the stainless, I have done quite a few revolvers in Cerakote. Unfortunately I didn't think of taking pictures since they were all black. Boring but very tacticool. I don't like discussing prices on the forum so email me for a complete price list and explanation. Info is on my sig line. Good luck. I do like the stainless finish too.

I have an STI Ranger II that was Cerakoted by Black Box Customs in Calgary. Happy with the result. I believe they do mainly machine shop and finish work and I don't know about revolvers, but worth a call because they are home town for you.

Rob!

I'm going to get in touch with them as well and see if they will do a revolver.
