Am I the only one still using Hoppes No 9? The stuff just works. I wet everything down blued or Stainless, then wait 15-20min. Then just wipe everything out with a Jag and patch. Then clean the forcing cone and firing pin area with a brass brush. Wipe it all down with a microfiber cloth and call it done.

If Im going deep show shine clean I’ll use a lead remover cloth to get the front of the cylinder looking new on stainless guns only.

On stainless revolver, Birchwood Casey lead removing cloth do magic to remove lead and carbon fouling in and out of the cylindre. A patch of 2"x2" will clean a whole revolver. Awesome product

Brass juice
Boretech C4 Carbon cleaner
brass brushes, picks, and bore brushes
small x-acto knife
birchwood casey lead cloths

It's a chore but given I'm shooting 25k+ year I don't have a choice. clean powder is a must.

Like Hickok45, I use mostly Ballistol. spray generously everywhere. brush in the bore and a bit chambers. Then patches down the bore and chambers. brush on and around forcing cone. wipe everywhere with big cotton patches or rags.

Same here all thou I also use Lead remover cloth in and around the cone area and cylinder to really get the last bit out

Take a toothbrush to the range in case you get debris under the ejector star and it decreases the clearance enough that the cylinder doesn't rotate freely. A brass or stainless brush is sometimes needed on the face of the cylinder to remove build up that causes the same lack of clearance and binds rotation.
