Whats the best way to get the cylinder face clean on a stainless revilver?

Soak it over night in Hoppe's #9, and then elbow grease with a brass wire brush.

Use the above mentioned brass brush, then buff it with some of this stuff. It works real good for polishing stainless steel revolvers.

Flitz polish. Clean as much of the crud off with the solvent of your choice then use Flitz to get rid of the left over stuff.

i like to use a lead remover and polishing cloth like the ones made by birchwood casey or simular! just cut little patches and rub on the face of the cylinder, presto all clean...
