Revolver ID Needed- Help Thanks

A friend has asked me to tell him what he has.
I can get more picture, but think this is a good shot.

What you have is a gun designed by Joseph Bentley. He contracted with a bunch of different manufacturers in England to make his guns and that is why you can see many variations and different levels of quality. Webley made a few of his guns as well. The unique feature on these is the Bentley pattern half #### mechanism, it should have a spring on the left side that pushes in a pin that the hammer rests on and stops it from falling down and acts like a half #### setting.
I had one that was rimfire in .38 and still have a percussion version also in .38

Have established it is a 5 shot.
Did a google, but couldn't find a whole lot of info
Any direction you could point me in to do some research on this one??

I had the same trouble finding any information about these guns, not much out there on the net. I think the book The Webley Story not sure the author has a bit of information on the Bentley guns that were produced by Webley but other than that I am still looking for information myself. Is the gun in .38?
