So im new to site and new to handguns. I bought a Alfa Proj 9mm classic and just finished installing the reduced power spring kit from Rusty Woods trading. It was a bit more challenging to install then the directions led me to believe. the action ended up in peices with mystery springs and pins everywhere. After a full hour of stress and sweat and a careful examination of the inaduquate parts description in the manual I had reassembled it. Function test had the action locking up about every five pulls. After it locked up about five times it started functioning perfectly.

My question is, should i be worried that something was installed incorrectly or is it normal for it to lock up a couple times after reassembly then right its self after a bit of use?

I've had a few revolvers apart and they are tricky at times, double action anyways. As far as your revolver goes I'd say that it won't fix itself. Personally I'd look for a proper parts diagram and go back in to confirm that the reassembly was properly done.

My thoughts were that something was slightly out of alignment and righted itself after a few cycles. I hope anyways.
