I’m looking for a revolver in 38spl or 357 that has the style of SA ( e.g. Ruger Blackhawk, Remington 1873, erc...), but is double action. The grip is what really appeals to me as it rolls in the hand under recoil.
Reason why is simple I shoot SA revolvers well, and want to try shooting in the NRA distinguished revolver event which requires a double action revolver that is capable of shooting 38spl. I’m aware S&W 14s are king in this event but I don’t mind being different.
Any suggestions are welcome at any price point. To be honest I’m not sure if this type revolver exists, but rather than give up I thought I’d ask my fellow CGNers.
