I have an old colt official police in .22LR that I want to restore and the first thing would be to replace the ejector rod. From diagrams on the interweb, I see I need to remove the crane bushing before I can get the cylinder and spring off. The bushing is threaded though, so I cant just go after with a pair of pliers.

Is there some trick or tool I'm missing here?
