RF224 11.7” Review?

Sorry took a little longer to get back out to shoot the rifle since I did all the work. She’s a great plinker now. I ran over 200rds down the pipe with only 3 hiccups. Stove pipe on the last rd on 3 separate mags. Im ok with that. Any semi can give have the odd issue. I’ll keep er clean, run very light oil & now good to go! $100 in parts & 12hrs of labour. Shouldn’t have to do all that, but is what it is….

Thanks for the update Wheeler, glad to hear replacing all those parts and customizing and polishing the internals got her to run..... what a project!

I think I may have just been really unlucky with mine but I think about the only thing it did right was go bang when you pulled the trigger. I fed it some CCi semi auto and some hollow point winchesters and it generally cycles well enough, I think a few of the issues came from the 597 mags, but the bolt/receiver pin was super loose to begin with. It would walk all the way out after a few rounds. Not to mention it was keyholing at about 25m. I liked the look and feel of it, it felt sturdy, and maybe once I get it back from warranty I’ll change my tune but as it stands not my favourite purchase

Mine keyholes too, but hits the target so thats ok with me, if yours went bang everytime out of the box i absolutely wouldn't care that it keyholes. My chambers been sanded out so i gotta accept the keyholing could be my doing, but it works and for ipsc mini rifle its accurate enough.

Anyway, i guess im a gluten for punishment, i got another one, a friend's isn't working and we've tried a few things, has the volquartzen extractor/plunger done already, I'm not into doing heavier modifications to other people's firearms that require sandpaper, files, drills and whatnot as i dont want to be held liable, we agreed to a deal and i bought the rifle to take on and see if i can get running as reliable as my black one, excitement for a "build" got the better of me and i slapped some magpul goodies on it already, can't wait to go try it and see where i want to start.

I took the new(er) bronze one out, and it shoots, not perfect but not awful, it was quite dirty but wanted to see what i was starting with.
Anyway i finally got a chance to tear it down today and low and behold the bolt is cracked right where my first one did (and ended up breaking off)
I reached out to sfrc if i can just buy the parts, will be a pain in the áss if i need to send them in everytime the bolt breaks.

That's unreal and more than just a coincidence or absolute sh*t luck. Any idea what the round count is on both of them?

My first ones probably around 10k rn, doing lots of ipsc mini rifle, and knock on wood its been holding up.

The bronze would i would venture a guess at around 500-800 rounds, i got it from the original owner and shoot with her often, she'd honestly given up on the adler platform
