RFB gen 1 vs gen 2

How does one tell the difference? Ive heard that the newer gas systems have a gold colour, but cant seem to get any reliable info. Is there a serial number range that would differentiate the two generations? Help please! I dont want to buy a gen 1 by accident. Thanks

I have both....if no one answers before I get home I'll take pics.

*BUT*: Speaking as a guy who owns/uses BOTH: I'll take a gen 1 ANY day over the gen 2. The gen 1 has a far easier gas system to use....the gen 2 system wasn't to make things *better*...it was to make things *cheaper*. The gas plug on the 1st gen is a piece of machining beauty.

I have had no issues with my gen 1 gaz system.

Also there was atread discussing in details the gen 1 and 2 a couple of days ago.
