I could not decide if this should be here or on the optics thread,I'm down to # 3 on the waiting list so mine should be in with the next shipment,,got a sling for it,got a cheek rest, debating if I should put a comp/flashider on it,but I haven't settled on a scope for it yet and I was wondering what other guys are using on theirs, mine is primarily going to be used for hunting(50 to 300 yards on average) and punching paper.pictures of yours would be great.
thanks in advance.

Mines also a hunting rifle.

Leupold VX III 2.5-8X36 (gives me the range for intermediate to longish shots) with a Burris fastfire piggyback with a 40 yd zero for fast moving bush shots.

I had a 1-4x30mm and found that I 'wanted' more magnification, old eyes... So... My RFB now wears a Bushnell Elite 4200 3-9x40mm...

I'm happy with the rifles function, but like everyone... I'm still in the process of finding the best ammo/recipe for it...

Cheers
Jay

I run an Aimpoint Comp ML3 right now on mine...but would love to upgrade to the Elcan Spectre DR like the others have. Maybe when I have more funds...

well after a few different setups, I opted for a acog 3.5 x 35 and I couldn't be happier, lots of bush hunting out here so I don't realy need a high power scope and I've shot this 3.5 out to 200 yards and am happy with the results.I also changed out the sling mounts,I didn't like the stock plastic ones it came with,I like the option of a quick detach.

Just as critical as the optic is the correct choice of rings. Regular high rings do not seem to do the job. You need a riser or perhaps the Bushnell PEBR (?)

Believe me this is critical and you will not have a comfortable shoot and good ergonomics without the right mount
