rfb, whos got em? worth it?

I have one and love it. Very compact ,the weight is balanced closer to your body so there is less shooter fatigue. I love the foreword ejection which keeps brass in a nice pile in front of you great for reloading. it has Low recoil, and will shoot 1.5 moa with a 1.5 powered scope. My wife loves it and she can be very picky abought what she shoots. it looks great and feels like a quality rifle. Some of The negatives are the price , I have seen them being sold used for as low as $2200 to $2500 and mine will jam a round every 100 shots. It seems to do this very consistently. I reload and this might be the problem for I have never put factory ammo through it.
My final thoughts:
This rifle is (a) I can do everything you want rifle but not as good as other rifles that are made for an intended purpose eg: it's not bolt action Acurate but Acurate enough, it's not AR 15 light but it's only 8 pounds. It's not ak47 tough but for hunting or plinking its more rifle than you will ever need. Would I take it to a target shooting match ,no way.would I take it to war ,not a chance but overall I love this rifle for what it is. it's a very interesting gun. Acurate for the average shooter , comfortable to handle and always makes me smile.

You're selling it short by comparing it to an AR weight-wise. I believe that the RFB is actually the LIGHTEST 308 semi made IIRC
 
I shot one and loved it. Then I owned one and for the price it just wasn't worth it to me. I traded it for an AR180b + cash and am a lot happier. I believe its a nifty little rifle, but mine constantly jammed even with factory ammunition. So for me a 2200+ gun that jammed frequently was not worth it. I believe the QC from Keltec along with the magazines i had (several surplus + factory mag) didn't help either. But I hear good things from others so maybe mine was just a lemon.
 
Had one, traded it for a Valmet.

RFB is the closest to magnum handgun hunting we can get. At the time I had a .454 super Redhawk and RFB, the experience of shooting both was similar.

If I had the $$$$ burning a hole in my pocket I'd buy one again.
 
Very nice, well balanced and fits me like a glove.
But in my opinion, its not a 2700 dollar gun. At the time I was playing with one there were some teething problems so I steered away from buying.
I cant remember what the issues were but they were covered on some US sites.
If I had the spare cash, I'd have one just for the novelty...I mean its an unrestricted .308 Bullpup after all :))
 
I have one... I fed the rifle everything from commercial "sniper" loads to reloads and milsurps and never had a jam in several hundred rounds... I could not really give you an accuracy review as I have an Eotech mounted on it and it is not a very precision oriented optic at longer range... I really like the rifle as it is handy and compact. I installed a stubby front grip and this helps a lot with both handling (I tend to touch the barrel with my support hand with the bare front stock) and with bench shooting... A full length front grip is too long I find... I use a QD one as you cant slide on accessories on the lower rail on this rifle... I will not sell this rifle. I sold other .308 but this one stays... I'm not sure I will keep the XCR-M yet... Sold the M-14 to a friend who needed a rifle a while back...
 
Love my RFB (Gen 2 I think). Put about 500 rounds through it now with not a single JAM in the lot. It is quite capable of 1.5 MOA on commercial ammo and will drop to 1 MOA for tuned reloads. Note, it will not work well with soft point bullets as the tip is deformed in loading, plastic tip (A-MAX) and FMJ are fine. As it's a Semi-Auto I will likely never take it hunting but for fun it can't be beat.

CON - I have to put a cleaning rod down the barrel to get it to stand up in the gun-rack at the range.
