I am thinking of purchasing an RFB when Wanstalls (best price I've found so far) gets their next shipment and would like to hear opinions from people that own them or have owned them.
I would like to buy a used one but it seems that everyone wants to make money on this rifle. Where do people get off charging more for a used one than you can get one new? The only one on the EE right now is $100 more than a new one costs including tax and shipping
You've answered your own question. Availability... If someone wants it, and it's not available new, it pushes up the price on used ones.
As for the rifle itself, it's much more solid than my Sub 2000 was. It's well made and reasonably accurate. It balances nicely, even though it's on the heavy side. The trigger is kinda bad, but that's not surprising for a bullpup, and maybe I've been spoiled by the trigger on my Swiss Arms (which is beautiful for a stock service rifle).

It showed up in the mail on Monday with the new PEPR mount I ordered
It's a Gen2 model.
Took it apart and put it back together around 5 times to clean it and get real familiar with it then mounted my new scope and modified an AR forend rail to fit and took it out in the bush to play.
Setting up the gas system was a little bit of a pain but nothing that wasn't fully explained in the manual. Once set as per instructions it functioned perfectly the remainder of my day. I never had a single stoppage out of the 38 rounds I fired. all brass was easily recovered since it all drops right in front of the rifle.
I ran 33 rounds of S&B 147 grain FMJ then 5 rounds of Rem 150 grain soft point. Both functioned with the same gas setting.
The factory 5 round mag fed reliably and held the bolt back after last shot every time once the gas system was set.
Wish they would ship them with pinned 10 or 20 round mags. The 5 rounder sits way up in the well and is a little awkward to get out. Hopefully things loosen up and they drop free later.
When I got home I modified my inch pattern 5/20 mag to fit and will test it next time I get it out.
I have 4 Thermold 5/20's and a DSArms 5/30 on order which will hopefully be waiting when I get home next week.
Groups were only done by shooting at a previous hole in a tree but were pretty much overlapping while shooting freehand at around 25-30 yards. The shots I took out further were just shooting at twigs poking out through the snow and were probably 50-60 yards away. So far I am happy with the accuracy of the rifle and will post here again after I get a chance to run a bunch more ammo through it and get to the range to shoot it at a measured distance.
I was also happy to see that the inside of the rifle was quite clean after shooting so after cleaning the barrel I just wiped everything down and oiled it before putting it away.
So far I'm very happy with my purchase.

2 of my 5/20 Thermold and the 5/30 made by DSA showed up in the mail the other day. Still waiting for 2 more of the 5/20's.
All mags lock in place and feed reliably. I did have the last round not strip a couple times though. So far I've run each mag through around 3 times.
Happy so far with them, they will prob feed the last round a little more reliably as the gun and mags wear in a little more and I fine tune my gas setting.
I will be ordering some more as soon as I get moved into the new house
I still haven't done any real range work with it yet to try to print groups and see what ammo it likes best.
