Which one? Where they make drones look like targets in the arcade? There's a swell depiction of the new of warfare to be seen on S3 E1 of 'Lioness,' where the team visits the front lines in Ukraine.
Yes yes but the magical Hollywood stuff aside, the episode shows the battle front conditions to good effect.Which one? Where they make drones look like targets in the arcade?
Lol.
Lmao.
Lmfao even.
They would have been dead.
It feels like a psyops.
"See! Drones arent scary. Enlist now!"![]()
But to own a disputed territory you have to have boots on the ground, For a problem this serious, a solution will eventually be found, energy beams or hunter-killer anti-drone drones equipped with AI, something like that. And then AI will take over and that'll be it for mankind, maybe. The solution is not to shoot at drones with guns or what not. The solution is not to send human to the front

Good points. A good bit of that is seen in the Lioness episode as above, but no iron dogs that I noticed. The hunter kill in terminator is called the Anduril Thunder a militarized version of Archer's electric hybrid VTOL. and the anti drone drone with HPM is the Lockheed Marin Morfius X - and the pilots behind it, Anduril Lattice Shield AI HIvemind...etc
All the stuff in Ghost in the shell and Terminators are real. The battlefield will be robotized like an Amazon warehouse. How do these things connected together and share data - Palantir and large AI model.
How to "own" an area? Ground robots - we have robot dogs now and tracked/wheeled ones now, in the future will be tens of thousand of small insect like robotic "swamps" that move from grid to grid controlled by AI. These things do not need to carry explosives, guns...or anything, they just crawl anywhere to make human presence impossible within the grid. It will be a calculation of robot/area density to deny human presence.
A typical western soldier costs 80K a year in salary + benefit, and disability can cost up to 500K lump sum, and the training cost and a big cost on sustainment whenever they are sent anywhere. The cost of equipment to make controls available to humans and protection, fire suppression....could be saved if no human is involved.
