I am picking up a RIA 10/22 clone and understand they will accept Ruger magazines...which is better-the original rotary flush mag or the larger capacity butler creek magazine?Do they both function the same way? ( I'm not interested in large capacity magazines) the more compact and easy carry the better as my main use is casual plinking and small game hunting

I like the idea of a flush mounted magazine, carries nicely .Where can Ruger 10/22 rotary magazines be bought and at what price?

Yes mags prohibited if over 10 rounds as the RIA 10/22 is a Ruger 10/22 variant and therefore uses magazines that are inherently designed for the Ruger 10/22 platform including the Charger pistol. Did I get all of the new catch phrases correct?

It will take all Ruger 10/22 original and aftermarket mags. The rifle comes with a 10 round butler creek magazine and you can buy more butler creek 10 round mags at wholesale sports for $25/ea.
