I am thinking about ordering a new stock for my Winchester 670. Does anyone have any experience with these guys?

I've bought three from them so far, and I have been pleased with all of them. Like Bearhunter said, they do take a while to ship the stocks to you, since they seem to be extremely busy, but their product is pretty good for the money. As long as you don't mind doing most of the sanding and finishing yourself, that is.

I got one for my Stevens and it looked like they hired a beaver to do the inletting, but it did finish very nicely. It also took 7 mo to get to me and then it was the wrong stock. I sent it back and only 2 mo later I got the correct stock.

All in all I was happy with it.

I emailed them about a stock back when I was building the 375. 4 emails later and with no responses to any of them, I gave up on Richards...

Thanks for the replies guys...I am torn...I dont mind the wait..but dont want to end up with a POS stock after waiting...my options are somewhat limited as I have a Winchester 670(model 70 with a blind magazine) and these guys are one of the few who list it as an option. Any other suggestions?

I bought a rifle with a microfit stock on it and I like it. Length of pull is a bit long for me but I guess I could cho pit and install a new pad. It was finished when I got it so I don't know what it looked like when it came but it looks good now.

Can you buy bottom metal and make it into a regular model 70? If thats the case you could look at a boyds stock.
