Yah a color plan that is or looks similar to rosewood.
been doing a ton of research now.... I may be able to contact Richards now, their (800) isnt working but the (818) might (it atleast dialed lol) A problem that may come up with Richards though is that I read somewhere (if in fact true) that they receive their laminate panels from Rutland, the same place as Boyds, which makes me wonder if their blank dimensions are in fact the same as boyds (which means they wont work for me) even through they are drawn differently on the websites.

Ive also stumbled upon other Laminate providers...
SO theres that Dressels place that Mauser suggested, and they seem to sell nice natural wood color blanks in the size I need so that could very well be an option

Theres Rutland, but they supposedly have a minimal order policy of 4 blanks, They use a laminate system called "Stratabond" which is what Boyds uses. blank sizes and color schemes they offer is yet to be determined

There is CWP Cousineau Wood Products and they offer a laminate system called "Spectraply" They offer the sizes I need but no color schemes I like.

There is Lamnia, but things get confusing with them because they offer the right sizes with good color choices BUT their blanks are called "CWP" which leads me to imply they are the same blanks as the "spectraply"; However on the sight they state that the blanks are made in Finland (Spectraply is supposedly made in Maine, USA) and only with water resistant wood glue (which doesnt sound very strong)??

Finally I came across a company called Webbwood, they offer some VERY nice colors and possibly the right sizes. They offer a Laminate system called "Webbwood" which they compare as being the same strength and quality of "Spectraply" and "Diamondwood" (a system offered by Rutland but possibly lower quality than "stratabond" maybe ??)

Is there any stock makers here or others who can chime in on the quality of "Spectraply", Diamoundwood", "Webbwood" and maybe the Finnish "CWP" ??????????????????????????????????????????????? thanks
