Okay guys and girls,

I've been sitting back and giving this alot of thought and I would like to know if any of you would be interested in attending a one or two day course on rifle or shotgun for the purpose of 3 gun competition.

For those of you who do not know me, I shoot IPSC and I am master class in Production and Standard so I know something about the game. I am also a former police officer, police instructor, SWAT trainer/officer with a ton of courses, certifications and experience in the development and delivery of training from novice shooters to highly experienced police and military units.

I have noticed that some shooters aren't fully familiar with their rifles and shotguns when shooting 3 gun and I think I might be able to help. I have taught and developed courses on pistols, MP5, C8, C7, Sig 551 and 552, AK, FN P90, 870, 1100, Mossberg 500, etc... I think you get the picture.

So, would there be anyone interested in such a course?

If so, I will run a very safe, professional, informative and fun course with some class but mostly live fire sessions based on an IPSC-geared lesson plan and I will gladly set up where ever you folks would like. The fee will be reasonable and we can determine course numbers dependant on interest.

Let me now what you think either by posting here or PMing me. I will consider any ideas that you may have.

Thanks,
Tritium

RePete.

It all comes down to where people are from.

EESA would be a good spot for it.

As would EOHC, Barrie and GRRC as far as I am concerned.

But yes I would be more than happy to assist in organizing the ground work at EESA if people wanted it here.

I have no problems travelling to any of those! I've been shooting out of EOHC lately and I'm still an member at Barrie.

I'm due for a road trip to your neck of the woods and woods and would have been there for this weekend's 3-gun if it hadn't been Easter (my girlfriend would have killed me... with the assistance of my mom).

Wherever the greatest interest comes from I'll be there!

Best numbers would be 8 or less so that each student can get some individual attention if they need it.;)

Repete... this is a legitimate deal that I'm thinking of giving a try to.. I would appreciate leaving the goofy comments until we're at a match or somewhere.

Let's make the first one day course a rifle course. That seems to be where I noticed some shooters having difficulty in the matches that I've shot at.

Bartledan... any way I can get a range at EOHC on the first or second Sunday of May? I know thaqt may be a prob with Russlemania being built!

If not I may have to ask one of the guys at Grenville for a range.

Yo dude.

I can't imagine that being a problem. we have to have a couple of ranges at least partially open to the general membership (ie, the non-ipsc shooters) to the greatest extent possible, or it's pretty powerfully unfair.

I'll talk to SR about his plans for MY RANGES :) tonight. I tink we're going out for beer someplace. Give me a holler if you want to come.
