I am particularly interested in finding the US Optics version which has the fold in level. Does anyone have experience with these scope or ring mounted levels? It's going to be used on my 220 Swift and my 300 RUM for longer range applications. Who sells these things?

A friend of mine makes bubble levels that attach on the rear scope ring using longer screws for the ring and tubes between the top ring and the level tube. The beauty of the system is that you can glace at the level from the shooting position. He buys really cheap plastic torpedo levels and salvages the bubble capsules from them. Obviously this wouldn't be a great idea for hunting rifles, my friend just uses them on target rifles.

hey hey, i'am on my way to order one folding that attach to the picatiny rail direct from USO, let me know if you don't find any, i can order more, let me know also if you find some in canada so i will cancel my order in the US

The ''one who cannot be named'' from Alberta sell US OPTIC.

PM me if you need more details.

Levels

I have both the ring mounted and the US optics version that mounts on the picitany rail. I like the rail mount the best because it is in my line of sight when I shoot prone. With the ring mounted level you have to look up to the top of the rifle and that disturbs your sight picture.

Also having the level on the rail allows me to level the gun when mounting the scope, all I do is level the rifle using the picitany rail mounted level, and then place a small spirit level on one of the scope turrets and presto the scope is leveled.

We stock both the scope mount swivels and the rail mount swivel acds. We presently have USOPTICS stock of the rail mount and 30mm scope mount swivels:dancingbanana: . Occassionally we do run out :runaway: but we have good supply now with more on route.

Just be aware it mat not fit on your rig depending on the setup. I have a Sako TRG 42 with the Nightforce NXS 5.5-22x56, Near 20 MOA base and Near rings, medium I believe, and the USO folding ACD will not fit between the scope and base. I do use one on my tricked out Sendero, useful tool that gets you into good habits.

Very sad to learn that it is hard to fit on TRG-42, the cosine and the ACD where to be installed on my new TRG-42, HKmark23 install both on his rifle, i will have to ask him info before placing my order
here is the pic

what a set-up

I'll see if I can find some time to measure the height of the usoptics mount.

Earlier USoptics acd mounts were bulky. The new ones are now radiused or cropped to permit lower scope mounting. I believe they use a 16mm radius or 32mm diameter circle. 35mm scopes maybe a problem pending the ring height.

Keep in mind ring height is the governing issue.

Hang in there guys we are still digging out of the holiday orders.

Does anybody know of a dealer that currently has the US Optics rail-mount levers in stock? ### and TOWCBN in Calgary are awaiting their next shipments and I'm not an overly patient guy... :)

You know, all scopes come with an anti-cant devise built right in. It's called a horizontal cross hair... if its not level, then level it. ;)

You might try advertising WTB on some of the classifieds. Since USOPTICS can't supply us due to "0" stock, I don't think they can supply anyone else...
