Rifle Basix triggers

I installed one on my Marlin 17hmr.It seems to be working great.
I bought mine from the states but I think Russells sports carries them.

A good trigger for a varmit gun,but the reset spring is too small for reliable reset. The sear is much looser in the box then the Remington or Shilen,a good thing for let off, a bad thing for a hunting rifle,it makes it easier to hang up on debris. These design compromises can make it unhealthy in bear country.Their customer service is "tough luck".

Just installed in my 7 Mystic (Stevens 200). Very nice. Have the Sav2 version and trigger is around 6ozs. A very very slight amount of creep but that is probably a byproduct of being so light. Zero for overtravel. No issue with trigger return. You just need to play with the adjustments.

Follow the instructional CD and install is straightforward.

If looking for a 1lbs or heavier trigger, I would go with the Sharp Shooters version. Cheaper and way easier to install.

Decent triggers for the money. I have found that the rifle basix needs adjusting a couple of times a season. They start to creep and get a little sloppy even if you seal the adjustment screws from moving.

Mmmmmm, you all seem to have them on small calibres. I am looking for a trigger on my .338 ruger M77 tang safety model. Maybe I need to look at Timney triggers or something else?

original ummmmm no.:D but it works. Welcome, now I can pick your brain here as well, Man this place lets any one join
